Yes, more blight
Dragon Age The Veilguard was previously named Dragon Age Dreadwolf, the game finally released on October 31st. For some, this ten-year wait was a true horror story.
Synopsis
You are Rook, the new team member with Varic and Harding. Your goal is to stop Solas ritual. During the attempt, the imprisoned gods are now freed and they aim to reform the world and regain their former glory. The problem is that this transformation is deadly, only you and your team are ready for the task at hand but more help will be required.
Visual
Without going into the movie like realism as several games try, Bioware has a more cartoonish approach to the characters while still giving enough details and an environment pleasant to look at. In addition, finished the green, this new opus is under the shades of purple. If you like the visual effects, the fights will impress you.
Gameplay
Similar but different, one of the big differences between this game and its predecessor is the number of companions that accompany you, only two this time around. In addition, your group members also have skills that will help you continue on your way. But one of the most interesting elements is the combination of your teammates actions. For conversations, the game offers more than just reactions to your decisions, it provides continuity from one discussion to another with the interlocutor.
Finale note
For evaluation purposes, the game sessions were on PS5. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. Is the ten-year delay between Dragon Age Inquisition and The Veilguard justified, in my opinion, yes. Is it necessary to have played the precedents to appreciate this one, no. The game is FLAMMING HOT and even without the lore it is enjoyable.
