Marvel’s Midnight Suns, PlayStation has just announced that the video game  has been cancelled and as a result all pre-order are to be refunded. For those that did pre-order, you should receive a notice has to how the refund will be processed.

If like me you were hoping to see another studio get into the Marvel Universe and produce games like Marvel’s Avengers, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, looks like we may have to wait a bit more.

While pre-order are being removed from the catalog from the PS Store. The Microsoft Store still shows it, but when selecting  the version for the Xbox Series, it reports “not available”.  The Marvel’s Midnight Suns website remains up and pre-order is showing coming soon with a release date of December 31st 2022. The Twitter account of Marvel’s Midnight Suns already posted a game launch delay on August 8th, with the removal from the PlayStation Store and notice sent to the customer, the publisher needs to clear this, if it is a misunderstanding  or simply come clean and advise the gamers.

Will the Midnight Suns ever rise or simply fade away as a distant memory? Only 2K and Firaxis  Games can tell.
