A new look and more
Over the last few days Sony Interactive Entertainment have been announcing new product for the PS5. From a programmable controller to allow more player to access and to play the game with the Access Controller.
A console to match your décor
Or if you wanted something that was not white and only trust your PlayStation 5 with genuine parts. Well there are some new cover plates you can get, this way you can personalize your console. The choices includes the Midnight Black, Cosmic, Red, Galactic Purple, Nova Pink and Starlight Blue. But why not go with the Grey camouflage or even LeBron James limited edition or even the Spiderman2 Limited edition. The later sold out in a few hours.
Out of space?
Have you added a and M2 SSD disk in your PS5 and still feel that you are low on space? Good news, the latest beta update of the PS5 will test the capability of increasing that additional disk to a 8Tb. This will allow you to have more active games on your console.
Resellers heaven
The cover, controller and game console of the Spiderman 2 design were available for pre-order as of July 28, if you did not stay up on the 27 to purchase what you wanted at 00:01 on the 28th, you will need to go to eBay, Kijiji, FB Marketplace, Craigslist or where ever online, one goes to purchase from reseller, but get ready to throw much more money than the MSRP. A disc cover was 64.99$ on the PlayStation store and can now be found on eBay as an example with a steep price tag that ranges from 175.99$ to the upwards of 200.99$. And of course those prices does not includes the ridiculous shipping charges.
Silver lining
Even if the Spiderman2 covers are sold out everywhere, there is a silver lining, the consoles are still available. Therefore you can do like I did, purchase a new console which will be delivered on September 1st, take the covers from the new console and put them on my personal PS5, put the original with cover on the new console and sell it at a lower price. I am certain to find a buyer that will accept the reduced price console because it has the regular white covers, but it will still be a brand new one, with the controller and the game.
