Giving a break to your wallet 

The current situation is hard for everyone, regardless if you still have a job or not. Many big players in the video game industry realizes that the majority of games are going through a hardship at the moment and they are doing their part to help make it to brighter days. This week, there are some freebies from Ubisoft, Stadia and Playstation.

Ubisoft did it in March with Child of Light, this time they offer Assassin’s Creed II free to download to all. You have until Friday, April 17th and you will need a Uplay account, but once you do download te game it is yours to keep for free.

Google, is currently offering Stadia Pro, which was previously available only to those who purchased the Stadia starter bundle. You can now register for a 2 month trial period, what you will need is a compatible controller and a Gmail account, then you can download the application and start playing right away, games like Destiny 2. You will need to cancel your subscription before the 2 month period as to not get charged for it pass the trial period, which will result in loosing the Stadia Pro free games. Stadia Pro subscribers, you have not been forgotten, your next 2 months will not be charged!

Playstation launch the Play at Home initiative, Starting April 15th to May 5th, PS4 owners will be able to download, not one but 2 games for free. The game Journey and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be available to download, not only at no charge but you will have those linked to your Playstation account for good unlike what is offered to the PS Plus subscribers.
