Ellie revenge
The Last of Us part II Remastered arrives on January 19, 2024, so it’s 3 years and 7 months, to the day, after the initial launch of the original version. So it’s time to take control of Ellie and deal with the infected and more.
Synopsis
Following the murder of his mentor in front of her eyes. Ellie and Dina leave Jackson to hunt down these thugs. The only clue Tommy gave them was, WLF or the Washington Liberation Front. The pair goes looking for the group of killers in the big city of Seattle. The army is no longer present, but the quarantine zone remains a battlefield that are disputed by the infected two armed groups. The WLF or the Scars, which is more ruthless?
New playing modes
The game features not only more visual details, but also new game modes. No Return is a survival roguelike mode that allows you to try to stay alive as long as possible. It is possible to play this mode using characters such as, Dina, Jesse, tommy and many others. Everyone has different abilities, which changes the way of playing. New levels and comments. It is possible to discover new levels never seen and get feedback on the development of the game.
Much more bloody
It’s hard to say if it’s 4K or the new details, but the game seemed even bloodier than the original version. As well as the feeling of immersion. Naughty Dog worked well and this new version with all the updates is a great success.
Final note
The evaluation copy was courtesy of Sony Interactive Entertainment. During the evaluation, it was possible to realize that this new version supported the full capabilities of the DualSense controller. There is no doubt in my mind, the remastered version is a sure 5 ALARM FIRE.
