New York City was the first location of Tom Clancy’s The Division, and the open fields of Washington in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 was fun, but I did miss the sensation of height and the different vantage points. Well folks we are going back to Manhattan!
As of today, the owners of the Year 1 Pass or UPLAY+ subscribers, can play the Episode 3: Coney Island – The Hunt. You will also have access to the Firewall specialization. All players will have access to the Firewall specialization after completing the field research. The episode 3 will be available for all on February 19th.
Besides the new specialization, the return to New York will offer 4 new districts of NYC to explore, the level cap will now be increased from 30 to 40. There are also new weapons, including the new exotic The Chameleon assault rifle that has a color changing skin and grants buff to players based on their accuracy. But not to worry if you do enjoy Washington, DC. There are two new Classified Assignments in the area, one against the True Sons and the other versus the Hyenas.
Still not enough? How about a hardcore mode, which includes permadeath as the result of failure, should you plan on trying it, it is strongly recommended to team up with other players as a squad to increase your chance of survival.
