Activision – Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4

Patience pays

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 was released on October 23rd and the CoD players got an excellent campaign, a year after Call of Duty Black Ops 7 and its very disappointing one.

Synopsis

As South Korea soldiers are going about an errand, they are surprised as the North Korean launches a full scale invasion of the peninsula. Captain Price joins forces with the Cartel to get close to Archer eliminate him, these action will put brothers in arms against one another. But who is in control?

Patience is rewarded

In the last few years, the campaign, included with the different games were lacking and left players wanting more. This time, we do get an excellent campaign, even a certain map that we can return to once the story is done. This is very similar to what was in in Cod MW III, a map where you do things in the order you want.

Together again

With 12 maps at launch, the multiplayer aspect of the game is intact, and with the popularity of extraction shooters, CoD MW 4 is no different, players can take part of it in the DMZ. If you like multiplayer content, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4, will not leave you hanging.

And it continues

Call of Duty does have a yearly release from the franchise, and in Modern Warfare the story continues. For players that did not play the previous game, it is easy to get into, with the cinematic recap. For those who have played the IP since the beginning, it is refreshing to continue the story of certain characters.

Final note

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is closer to what fan of single player games want, hoping that Activision take some notes. The review copies were provided by Activision and the game was tested on the PS5. In this format, with the perfect mix of single player and multiplayer content, this game is worth adding to ones library and this year I can truly say that it is HOT.
