Scuf Gaming – Scuf Omega Controller

Another controller?

Scuf Omega is the latest licenced controller for the PS5 console. It has added programmable buttons to match your playstyle. With the Scuf controller being marketed as the Official controller of Call of Duty League, one can wonder it the Omega version is not made for a specific game type. The controller is available for purchase a of May 12th.

Another one

With all the themed Dual Sense controller, from Ghost of Yotei to First Light, the rainbow of colored ones, do I really need a new one? Honestly, paying the price of 2 Dual Sense controller for a Scuf Omega controller, is not for me, I am not a competitive player, therefore I do not need the extra mapped buttons, but that is for me and it could be very well different for you.

Technical information

The controller offers the players 28 possible inputs, which is an additional 11 from the standard Dual Sense. These are 4 back paddles, 2 side buttons and 5 G-Keys. The triggers can be programmed to shoot as quickly as a hair trigger or to offer resistance to match pulling a bow string or pressing on the gas pedal. The Scuf Omega’s Endurance TMR Thumbsticks  uses a non-contact magnetic technology to prevent stick drifting and keep precision over time. While the controller is licenced for PS5, it will also be compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices for mobile play.
