The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is finally here in theaters and no this is not an April Fools Day prank. Rekindle with some of the characters from the first movie and meet some new ones.
Synopsis
Bowswer Jr. in an effort to complete his fathers conquering goal, captures Rosalina and plans to use her power to destroy the Universe. As the story of the kidnapping of Rosalina reaches Princess Peach, she sets to and free the Mother of Lumas. Mario, Luigi and Yoshi will join Princess Peach in her rescue mission.
Changes
This movie focuses on other characters and it is possible that some of them from the first movie to return but not all of them. Some new faces are added, but to make room and keep the story manageable some were removed.
For the gamers and the non-gamers alike
The movie can be appreciated by the video game fans, as many elements from the different games can be found, For those that enjoyed the first movie, they will also like this one, the story is simple, the animation is great and it is colorful. Compared to many animation movies, this one does not rely on adult oriented humor to make this movie fun for the parents. It simply awakes the inner child and brings us back to what we felt watching Saturday morning cartoons. For those who know the Super Mario games try to find and count all of the Easter Eggs in this movie.
